What is an example of a business process, and how do you create a diagram?

A business process diagram, not to be confused with a business life cycle diagram, is a diagrammatic representation of one of the business processes that shows what happens when data passes from one task to another until it's completed. Examples of business processes are the sales process, recruitment process, and accounting process.
To create a business process diagram, make a rough draft, get input from employees involved in the process, input the information into a BPM tool, and assign the roles and conditions to the tool.
