Which e-commerce products get the highest markup?

I am in the process of setting up my own Shopify store to sell clothing online. I want to know which types of products sold online have the highest markups so that I know roughly how much leeway I have when marking up my own products.

When it comes to the profit margin, some products take the lead. On average, a good profit margin is observed in the following products:
- Jewelry
- TV accessories
- Beauty Products
- Kids Toys
- Women Apparel
- Shoes
- Kids Formal Wear
- Sleeping Suit
- Pet Care Supplies
- Candles
- Phone Accessories
If you examine this list carefully, you will realize that many products are related to apparel. Hence, if done correctly, the clothing business can be profitable. The average net profit in the clothing industry is 4% to 13%.
