It's possible to offset your shipping emissions on Shopify. Although this will not negate the negative impact your shipping has on the environment, it will help reduce it, and or provide funds to help combat emission problems.

To offset your shipping emissions you can make use of eco-friendly packaging, make your own, decomposable or shipping labels at home, or sign up for an emissions-offsetting app such as the Planet app.

The Planet app takes a small percentage of your order, depending on the plan you choose and the number of emissions estimated from the order.

This works out to approximately USD 0.035 to USD 0.15 per order, although it can vary depending on your transport method, the weight of your order, and the distance of delivery.
