Is dropshipping cost effective for selling seasonal products on Woocommerce?

My Woocommerce store needs a revamp. My business partner suggested that we sell seasonal products to generate hype, have new products coming in and out of the store, and get more customers buying more products across the seasons. We have discussed the possibility of using dropshipping to sell these seasonal products. However, is it cost-effective?

Experts recommend against dropshipping seasonal products — and for a valid reason!
Seasonal products are only in-demand for a short period - a couple of months, and sometimes only for a few weeks. The merchants have to wait a whole year until the demand graph rises again, and this vicious cycle seems to continue like this.
For this reason, seasonal products are never added to the list of "most popular products for dropshipping," and most retailers tend to avoid selling seasonal products through dropshipping.
