What is the difference between a micro fulfillment strategy and a macro fulfillment strategy?

The micro-fulfillment strategy involves placing small warehouses close to densely populated locations. It leads to faster delivery times. While macro fulfillment is a strategy that focuses on online orders from a large warehouse facility that supports many customers and SKUs. It reduces labor costs and improves order accuracy.
