There are three common fulfillment strategies, in house, third-party, and dropshipping order fulfillment. The in-house method offers 100% control of the shipping and inventory process. It's good for small businesses since it's low cost on the downside it's time-consuming since you're doing everything and if the business grows it becomes costly as you'll have to pay for additional staff and warehouse storage. Using the third-party fulfillment process requires no investments, and you'll get better shipping discounts. Some of its cons are that quality can be compromised if you don't do your due diligence. On the other hand, dropshipping is easy to start, requires minimal business development, and is affordable.
