What is an acceptable timeframe for re-stocking dropship products?

Asked 2 years ago

Hi everyone, having some supply chain issues at the moment. I sell beauty/health products online and have recently got news that all creams, shampoos and moisturizers will take at least 2 months before they can re-stock. Is this normal? Seems a lot longer than industry average for this type of product. Has anyone else had to wait that long? Thanks !

Importing beauty, skincare, and hair products usually takes about 45-60 days. Ensure you always have enough stock but not too much. Since having too much will be costly to your business. Get to know your reorder point and the safety stock that you should always have in case of supply chain issues.
