No, it’s not free to run ads on Youtube. How much you pay depends on the bidding model you choose. Youtube uses three bidding models, the cost per view model (CPV), cost per impression (CPM), and cost per action (CPA). CPV will cost from $ 0.10 to 0.30 similar to the CPA pricing. While CPM depends on the highest amount you’re willing to pay.
