What is an assisted conversion, how does it work, and how do I view them in Google ads?

Assisted conversions are actions that a customer has with your website leading to conversion but not the last interaction.
To view them go to your Google Ads account and choose setup conversion tracking. Click the Tools tab in the measurement section then choose search attribution and click assisted conversions.

In Google ads, assisted conversions are those successful sales actions assisted by ad clicks or ad impressions, excluding last click and last ad impression. Google ads show the assisted conversion data by determining the number of sales your advertising assisted. The conversion rate formula is: Total number of conversions divided by the total ad interactions tracked to a conversion during the same period.
