How are shipping rates calculated? Do they include taxes and customs fees?

Depending on a standardized system of shipping calculating called Dimensional Weight (DM), taxes and customs fees are included with shipping calculations. Various companies, such as the USPS, allow for the use of a built-in API to calculate costs on-the-go. Consult Shippo and its carriers for detailed information.
