Is Snapchat better for Apple or Android?

When Snapchat was first created, it was available for iPhones only but then it expanded and then made it available for Android phones. Because of that Snapchat is better optimized for iPhones and they are much clearer compared to Android Snapchat videos. In iPhone, it uses the device's actual camera compared to android phones where it records the screen of what the viewfinder is seeing thus creating poor videos.
