What is Facebook CBO?
Asked 4 years ago
I've heard a lot of people talking about campaign budget optimization (CBO) on Facebook, but I'm not entirely sure what it means. Does Facebook CBO involve increasing or decreasing your ad spend, or is it not even related to ads at all? How do I start CBO if I don't even understand what it really means? Can anyone help?

Campaign-based optimization or CBO is a feature provided by the Facebook ads business manager that manages your campaign budget across different ad sets. It automatically allocates more budget to the ad sets performing better than other underperforming ads. You can set your budget daily or choose a lifetime budget for the campaign based on your preferences. If you pick the lifetime budget, you can benefit from schedule-based advertising.
