Is it free to advertise on Google Ads for new Shopify store owners?

I’m a Shopify store owner and I want to join other businesses in the Google Ads campaign wave. I think my store needs new customers, and using Google ads will actually help me reach my goal of having a greater reach. With that said, I want to list my shop's products on Google, but I’m not sure whether Shopify store owners can do this without paying to advertise our store's content.
