What's the difference between dynamic ads and responsive ads?
Asked 3 years ago
I am in the process of optimizing my campaign for ad strength and I need clarification on the two different Google search campaign types. The timing of engaging potential customers is very crucial. I need to know which strategy to use for the best results. I want to make sure that my ad campaign is rolled out successfully, but I want to know the core difference between the two since they seem to respond to users' search queries in a dynamic way.

Responsive ads and Dynamic ads feel a bit similar but are actually different. Responsive ads use copy that is provided by the advertiser within the Google Ads platform while Dynamic ads gets content from the advertiser's website to create an ad.
Responsive ads are better since they respond to search queries. However, some marketers find it limiting since they don't have full control on the structure of their ads.
