I was just wondering if it is better to use a supply side platform or a demand side platform when it comes to advertising for my Shopify store. Thanks.

SSPs and DSPs both work together and serve different users. For your case where you want to advertise your Shopify store, you'll use a DSP. It is used by advertisers where it will automatically find publishers' sites or mobile apps that you can advertise in and place a bid.
