What is the best way to do wholesale on Shopify?

I have the basic Shopify package and I'm wondering if it is possible for me to sell the same products to distributers as I do to my online customers? Is it a simple process expanding from a business-to-consumer store to a business-to-business store? Would it become confusing for B2C customers if I sold to distributors on the same platform or should i split it up? What is the simplest way to do this?

You do have an option to create a different Shopify account for your distributors. But you can still sell your products to your distributors on the same Shopify account where you sell your product individually to customers. For this purpose, you should provide a custom discount code to your distributors or use a password-protected page. With this tactic, you can use your Shopify account for B2C and B2B simultaneously.
