What is macro conversion, and someone please give me an example of how it works?

Macro conversions are the main goals of a marketing campaign and directly relate to the profits of the company. It can be categorized into revenue-based conversions for example order completion, paying for subscriptions.
Second is lead acquisition conversions like application form completion, and member signs up. Finally, enquiry conversions like phone calls and contact form completion.
