What are the best UTM practices?

Our current marketing strategy doesn't work really well recently, so we decided to implement UTM parameters to get more advanced analysis. Also, as we have been using them for a while and we want to clean up our analytics report and define them better. Which practices should we consider?

Setting up UTM parameters is ideal practical code for organizing the incoming traffic and analyzing it. However, there are a few guidelines to use them ideally:
- Never Use UTM codes for internal links, which can cause tracking errors.
- Use an additional parameter builder to minimize mistakes in code.
- Make your UTM code data as consistent as you can. Inconsistency can wreck the entire data and analytic accuracy.
- Review your reports regularly, and track the UTM links using a spreadsheet.
