TikTok vs. Facebook: Which is better for advertising?

What are Tikok's conversion rates, CPCs, and ROI like when compared to Facebook? Can one use the same marketing strategy as one would on Facebook?

TikTok started to explore advertisements back in 2019. Therefore, sufficient data is not available to determine its conversion rates and ROI. However, ZALORA, in a case study, reported a conversion rate of 1.7% via the TikTok ad campaign.
With Tiktok, the creativity in ads knows no bounds. When compared to Facebook, its CPC ($0.19) and clientele are very low. Despite Facebook's dull-looking ads, its full-fledged marketplace gives Facebook a slight edge over TikTok.
