What data does a CRM hold?
Asked 4 years ago
So I've heard that a CRM is good for a business to have and maintain and I've opened a sheet to try and set one up for myself. However, I am not sure what information I should be gathering or what metrics to track for a fully functional CRM. Any ideas? Thanks :)

The CRM contains all the clients' information gathered or transferred within a software. The primary data you need for a functional CRM can be divided into four categories:
- Personal data (Name, age, email address or telephone number, mailing address, etc.)
- Descriptive data (Education, career, family, and lifestyle information)
- Quantitative data (Purchase, average order value, click-through rate, site engagement, conversion rate, etc.)
- Qualitative data (Satisfaction, product preference, etc.)
