What is the formula for impressions?
Asked 3 years ago
Hi guys, I've been using Facebook for advertising my business, and I need to measure my ROAS, impressions, and reach. What would be the best way to work this out? I'm also very new to working with Google ads. How does the CPM work?

- Impression or ad views refers to the number of times your content or ads are seen on the screen. Professionals make use of different tools and software to track their impressions. The formula for calculating impressions is very straightforward: divide your budget or cost by CPM (click per mille) and multiply it by 1000 to achieve your impression rate.
- The impression should not be confused with reach. Reach is the total number of audience or individuals who viewed your ad.
- ROAS is the return on every dollar spent on ads. The formula divides the income by the total cost/ ad spend.
- CPM is a marketing term that counts the number of digital ad impressions a website receives on one ad. It is used for pricing web ads.
