How do I calculate the end-of-year revenue?
Asked 4 years ago
Is there a formula that I can use to calculate the end-of-year sales revenue? I have looked at annual income statements before but haven't had to do the calculations for the top line myself. Can it be done directly from a balance sheet?

Calculating end-of-year revenue gives you an insight into the gross income generated throughout the fiscal year. It doesn't include any cost or expenses.
You can find out the end-of-year revenue through a simple formula that can be mathematically written as:
Revenue = (sales price of units sold x number of units sold)
