Snapchat ads: What is considered a good swipe-up rate?
Asked 4 years ago
I'm looking through the metrics and wondering if swipe-ups on Snapchat count as clicks? Also, what would a good swipe-up rate be?

Yes, the swipe-up rate is considered a click. It is the ratio of how many users swiped up a picture ad to view details. A good swipe-up or CTR rate for Snapchat ads is somewhere between 0.35% to 1.5%. Anyhow, Snapchat has a lot more to work on. Their benchmark rate should be at least 1.9% which is the CTR rate for Google search ads.

"Clicks" is an action on an ad or CTA. Swipe-up serves a similar function. So yes, we can say that Swipe-up and clicks have identical definitions. A good average Swipe-up rate on Snapchat is 0.35% to 1.5%. If your strategy gives you a Swipe-up in the above range, you are in the right direction. However, some well-planned marketing strategies can increase the Swipe-up rate to 2%.
