Dynamic ads are a type of advertisement that can be customized to show specific products or services to users based on their interests and past behaviors on Facebook. They’re created with the help of a Custom Audience, which is a list of people who have visited your website or engaged with your brand in some other way.

Benefits of Dynamic Ads

Dynamic ads are becoming an increasingly popular option when it comes to online advertising. There are many benefits of using dynamic ads, including:

  • Increased engagement Dynamic ads are more engaging than traditional static ads, as they are customized to the specific user. This means that they are more likely to catch the viewer's attention and result in a higher click-through rate.
  • More relevant content Because dynamic ads are personalized for each user, they deliver more relevant content. This leads to a better user experience and increased conversion rates.
  • Greater flexibility Dynamic ads offer greater flexibility than traditional ads. They can be adapted to different placements, devices, and audience segments, making them a versatile option for any business.

How Dynamic Product Ads Work

If you're running an online store, it goes without saying that attracting more customers and getting them to convert is always a top priority. Facebook dynamic product ads may be the answer. With dynamic product ads, Facebook will automatically show your potential customers products based on what they've already looked at on your website. Essentially, they are an extremely effective way to personalize customer engagement for your e-commerce brand.

For example, if someone has been keeping an eye on a dress within your online store but has not yet committed to buying it, Facebook may show them the same dress or a similar product you’re selling. This is a great way to get more people interested in your products, keep your online store top-of-mind, and increase sales over time.

Dynamic product ads are also very customizable. You can choose which products you want to promote, set a budget for each ad, and target specific demographics. You can also create different versions of each ad to see which one performs best.

How to Create Facebook Dynamic Ads for Your WooCommerce Store

You’ll need to take a few steps before creating and analyzing Facebook dynamic ads within your WooCommerce store. First, you’ll need to create both a Facebook business management account and an ad account.

Then, you’ll want to integrate Facebook Pixel with WooCommerce. To do this, simply:

  1. Head to Facebook’s Event Manager.
  2. Select Pixel and click “Continue pixel setup.”
  3. Then, select “Install Code Manually” and copy the generated Pixel base code.
  4. If you have experience doing so, manually navigate to your website’s header code or use a WordPress plugin like Insert Headers and Footers to make the process easier.
  5. Once there, locate your website’s header template in your CMS’s backend and paste the Pixel base code at the bottom before the closing head tag (</head>).
  6. Finish up by clicking “Continue.”

Once this process is completed, it’s time to create a Facebook catalog. To do so:

  1. From your Facebook Business Manager, navigate to “Menu” > “Catalogs” > “Create Catalog.”
  2. Then, under the business category, select “E-commerce” > “Next.”
  3. Next, it’s time to upload any relevant product information.
  4. Now, navigate to “Create” > “View Catalog” > “Product Data Sources” > “Add Products” > “Use Data Feeds” > “Next.”
  5. To finish up, click “Set a Schedule” to add your feed URL and complete your newly created catalog.

The next step is to create the ad. To do this:

  1. From Facebook Business Manager, click on “Shortcuts” > “Catalog Manager.”
  2. Select the catalog you’ve just created and select “Products” > “Create Ad.”
  3. Fill in the required information.
  4. Click “Continue.”
  5. Designate the ad’s name, select the product page you’d like to advertise, decide on an ad format you think is best, and enter your online store’s URL.
  6. Finish up by clicking “Confirm.”

Nice! Your dynamic ads are all set up and ready to go.
