Facebook Pixel is the most effective data-collecting tool for people using Facebook ads. With the help of triggering and placing cookies, Facebook Pixel tracks users' interactions and activities on your website such as:
- What pages does a user visit, and what does he don't?
- When does a user visit your page?
- What's the scroll depth?
- What's the average time spent on the page?
To add Facebook Pixel to your website:
- Go to Facebook Ads Manager account > Events Manager.
- Select Connect Data Sources, then click Web.
- Choose Facebook Pixel and hit Connect.
- Specify your pixel name.
- Check for options by adding your website URL.
- Hit Continue.
- Now install Pixel either manually, following email instructions, or by using a 3rd party integration.
