How do you calculate the average engagement rate on Pinterest?

Asked 2 years ago

Hi, I use Pinerest's Analytics for my Pinterest ads, etc. What would you say is a good engagement rate, and how do I calculate the average?

Total engagements on your pins divided by total number of times your pin was seen. The ideal rate for pins is - as many as you can possibly get. There is no definitive metric for this, so the closer you get to 100% is the best you can do.

The average Pinterest engagement rate for Pinterest is the percentage closer to 100%. There is no definitive measure but an engagement rate closer to 100% is the best. You can use the Pinterest engagement rate calculators found online or calculate using this formula:

Average Pinterest engagement rate = Total engagement / total followers *100

A good engagement rate on Pinterest is subjective to the campaign, audience, budget, and other contributing factors. It can be misleading if we choose a specific number. A good average for a hair straightener ad can be a failure for a DIY ad. However, the closer you get to 100, the better it is.

Mathematically, you can calculate the average customer engagement rate easily. Simply divide the engagement on your pins by the number of times it was seen, and then multiply the answer by 100.
