What does high ROAS mean?

Is a high ROAS good? In my mind, it makes sense. Obviously, one doesn't want to be spending more than one gets in return. But I need to ensure that there won't be any backlash/commission expected from Google or the likes for earning over a certain point.

Return on ad spend (ROAS) is the amount of revenue a business earns for every dollar it spends on advertising. Meaning the more effective your advertising efforts are then the more you'll earn from each amount you spend on ads. So, having a high ROAS is good for your business.
