What factors influence average order value?

I was looking at my Shopify store's average order value and am confused at what raises and lowers it. What exact factors influence the average order value?

Industries, Devices, seasonalities, the value of the items you sell, prices for each item, and how competitive your pricing is are some of the factors that influence the AOV. Every industry is different meaning they'll have different AOVs. purchases can be made from different devices like laptops, and android phones, they will both show different AOVs. During some specific times like Christmas or Black Friday, the AOV may be higher.
