Why won't my Shopify connect to Instagram?
Asked 3 years ago
Hey all, I have a lot of followers and interaction on my Instagram, and I figured that I could integrate my Instagram profile to my Shopify store and direct the existing traffic to my store. But I can't get it to connect, and I don't understand why. Who here knows how to get past this?

There could be various reasons why your Shopify store and Instagram account won't connect. First, ensure you meet the following requirements;
- You're using the Shopify basic plan or higher
- You have an online store and an Instagram business profile that's connected to your Facebook catalog
- You've removed the password page from the store
- You've set up a Facebook shop that's approved and has no age or country restrictions
- Your store follows Facebook guidelines and policies
If you've followed those requirements you can then try reconnecting them.

- Go to 'business profile options' and then to 'Settings.'
- Choose 'Business' and then 'Shopping.'
