Is Facebook pixel really going to be eliminated?

If so, when are they doing away with the tool?

The Facebook pixel is a piece of code that's placed on other websites to track the traffic flowing between websites and their platform. Recently Google announced they'll be doing away with third-party cookies meaning that Facebook won't be able to track traffic. By 2022 the Facebook Pixel will be eliminated.
