What kind of KPIs should I include for my sales team?

Hi everyone, have recently put together a sales team. I'm in the process of re-structuring the contracts to include sales KPIs but I want to make them more interesting than just X amount per sale or X amount if target is achieved. Has anyone had experience with any alternatives? Ty

.Apart from average sales per month, some of the KPIs you could include for your sales team are:

  1. Sales by contact method
  2. Retention rate or churn rate
  3. Product performance
  4. Lead to sale %
  5. Customer lifetime value
  6. Average conversion time
  7. Customer acquisition cost
  8.
