Asked 3 years ago
My CPC and CPA on Facebook have suddenly shot up, and I don't understand why? What can I do to lower the sudden increase in costs?

Your CPA shooting up may be affected by other secondary metrics, a poor landing page, or that the Facebook algorithm has not delivered your ads to the target audience. You can reduce costs by pausing the ad to do some analysis, and restrategize your ads. Create a compelling offer that increases CTR that will eventually reduce CPC and CPA.

CPA Facebook marketing allows you to control your cost by paying only for your target audience's actions. Though the CPA varies from industry to industry, the average CPA on Facebook is $18.68. Your conversation rate directly affects the CPA. For instance, your CPA will increase if your conversation rate decreases.
If you are running an ad on Facebook and the CPA is very high, you can follow these tactics to lower CPA Facebook ads:
- Once your ad learning phase is over, you can modify and improve your audience.
- Make smart use of Facebook Pixel.
- Be creative and test out different combinations of text and images.
- Run video ads whenever possible.
